For the treatment of patellar luxation, the TROCA 56 custom-designed patellar groove prosthesis system, combined with the appropriate surgical procedures, is an excellent choice. The individualised design allows the implant to fit precisely onto the trochlear articular surface of the femur. For its application, there is no need for a trochlear osteotomy; the inner surface is strengthened with latticed pins. In all cases, the implant is made from medical metal using 3D printing.
