International Presence: Why We Build on Trade Shows

The development of veterinary orthopedics is unstoppable, but the widespread adoption of new procedures depends on one critical factor: education and hands-on experience.

For the LimesVet team, recent international exhibitions – from Warsaw to London – have proven that the demand for 3D technology is steadily growing.

However, the most effective way to introduce this technology is when veterinarians can see the solutions with their own eyes and even hold the devices in their own hands.

We do not attend these events merely as exhibitors.

Our goal is to establish LimesVet as a leading name in precision veterinary 3D technology while actively supporting the profession in shaping new standards of care.

Experiences from Our European Tour: From Birmingham to Palma de Mallorca

  • BVA LIVE (Birmingham): This event highlighted an important reality: even in highly developed markets, education remains essential. For many veterinarians, the true potential of advanced 3D technology is still relatively new. Although digital modeling techniques are already present in veterinary medicine across the United Kingdom, we were surprised to discover that many professionals were not yet fully aware of the remarkable opportunities these technologies can provide for animal healthcare.
  • ESVOT (Palma de Mallorca): Leading European experts, including Dr. Eva Schnabl-Feichter of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, confirmed that 3D solutions are becoming a fundamental element of future surgical planning. The technology attracted considerable attention, and visitors asked numerous professional questions about how these innovations can transform surgical planning and implant manufacturing.
  • Veterinary Expo Poland (Warsaw): We exhibited together with Wimba and introduced our solutions to Polish veterinarians for the first time. Our products represented a new approach within the local market, and many professionals showed strong interest in the practical applications of 3D technology in veterinary medicine.
  • London Vet Show: As Europe’s largest veterinary exhibition, attracting more than 10,000 attendees and over 400 exhibitors, the London Vet Show marked a significant milestone for LimesVet in the United Kingdom. At our booth, we not only presented our products but also created a dedicated “Dry Lab” area where visitors could test our drill guides and other solutions in real-world scenarios. This hands-on experience proved to be one of the most effective ways to demonstrate the accuracy, reliability, and practical value of our technology.

Domestic Experience: Annual Conference of the Hungarian Small Animal Orthopaedic Association

At the annual event organized for Hungarian veterinary professionals, LimesVet participated as an exhibitor.

Consistent with international trends, the event clearly demonstrated that 3D modeling provides genuine value to veterinarians.

A presentation by Dr. Kálmán Czeibert – veterinarian, anatomist, and co-founder of our company – on creating three-dimensional models from CT scans attracted significant interest and offered valuable insights into the future of veterinary surgery.

The level of professional engagement made one thing clear: within Hungarian veterinary orthopedics, the question is no longer whether this technology is needed.

The focus has shifted to how it can be most effectively implemented and integrated into everyday practice.

For the domestic veterinary community, it has become increasingly evident that this technology enables more accurate diagnoses and improved surgical outcomes.

Why We Will Continue in the Future

For us, participation in professional conferences is not simply a marketing activity – it is part of our mission.

Veterinary orthopedics and neurology are a field where millimeters matter, and it is through face-to-face encounters that we can demonstrate how LimesVet offers safety, precision, and more successful surgical outcomes.

Building on our successes so far, we will continue to attend the most important events this year and in the future to further develop the community that is shaping the future of veterinary medicine.
