The TROCA 55 custom-designed patellar groove prosthesis system is a great way to treat patellar luxation when combined with the appropriate surgical procedures. The implant's individual design allows it to fit perfectly into the trochlear articular surface of the femur. For its application, no trochlear osteotomy is required, the inner surface is strengthened with latticed pins, and the fixation is further supported by cortical screws.
