Where You Could Hear from Us: Lectures on 3D Technology

One of our main goals is to bring innovations to veterinary practice, thereby contributing to better animal care - however, we feel that our mission is even greater.

LimesVet continuously strives to play an active role in knowledge sharing and education alongside its daily work.

During February and March 2024, we participated as speakers at three significant events, all of which contributed to making not only the innovative solutions and their practical applications widely known but also the myriad of opportunities inherent in 3D technology.

These events provide us with opportunities on both a national and, more importantly, an international level, to showcase our developments and deepen our relationships with prominent representatives of the profession.

Lecture alongside International Experts at the 3DHeals Webinar

It was a great honor to participate in the "Revolutionizing Pet Care: 3D Technologies, 3D Printing" webinar organized by 3DHeals, alongside numerous international experts.

Representing LimesVet, Dr. Kálmán Czeibert shared the manufacturing technologies and applications of 3D design in veterinary medicine, collaborating with excellent speakers from various regions of the world.

The webinar's highlighted topic was the utilization of 3D technologies in veterinary medicine, which is increasingly important in meeting the unique needs of animals.

Participation in the 3DHeals event not only represented recognition for us but also provided an opportunity to showcase our innovations on an international level.

Professional Discussion at the Hungarian Small Animal Orthopedic Association Annual General Meeting

On March 3rd, the Novotel Budapest Danube hosted the annual general meeting of the Hungarian Small Animal Orthopedic Association, where Dr. Antal Seregi and Dr. Kálmán Czeibert represented us.

The event provided an opportunity not only to present LimesVet's activities but also for direct professional dialogue with the participants.

Such community meetings are extremely important to us, as they provide opportunities to receive feedback from representatives of the orthopedic profession in Hungary, paving the way for further development.

Sharing Clinical Experiences at the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber Event

Our "lecture series" at the beginning of the year's third event was the annual conference organized by the Budapest Organization of the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber on March 23rd, where we presented on LimesVet's newly developed patellar groove prosthesis system (TROCA).

The lecture provided a summary of the clinical experiences to date.

Dr. László Lehner (with whom we often collaborate in our work) also strengthened the event's professional level with his lecture on small animal neurosurgery.

It Is Important For Us to Continue Spreading the Word about 3D Technology in Veterinary Medicine

Our participation in the aforementioned events shows that the profession is interested in our developments and recognizes them.

Our 3D technology solutions are notable not only nationally but also internationally, but our goal is not only to "advertise" our own products, implants, and guides to the professional audience, but also to showcase the technology itself and the opportunities it offers, so that they can become more widely known in the public consciousness.

Therefore, we confidently plan to participate in as many similar events in the future.

Neurological problems and innovations in their treatment - Interview with Dr László Lehner, DVM (Part 1)

If you experience sudden muscle twitches or movement problems in your cat or dog, it can immediately scare you. Fortunately, however, small animal neurology is continuously developing which is greatly supported by our developments as well.  In this episode of our interview series we are talking to Dr László Lehner, a veterinarian specialised in small animal neurology, who carries out numerous operations regarded as unique in Hungary, e.g. removing various brain tumours and implanting ventriculo-peritonealis shunts.

General
The process of 3D printing and its role at LimesVet

3D printing has an almost 40-year-long history of continuous development. Since its start, more and more printing technologies and materials have been emerging. We can create prints from hard filament, liquid resin and plastic or metal powder.

General
The process and opportunities of anatomical visualisation

Visualisation is actually as old as mankind. Even in prehistoric times people depicted animals in cave paintings, supposedly, to project a successful hunting. This form of art evolved approximately 30 thousand years before writing, so it can also explain why numerous people say that they are visual.
