Atlantoaxial stabilization

Atlantoaxial stabilization

A Miniature Dachshund was diagnosed with atlantoaxial instability. Due to the small size and complexity of the area, we were asked to create a customized fusion plate. After the anatomical visualization, the drilling channels were planned to ensure that both the position and the drilling angles were correctly identified. Additionally, a special drilling guide was created that only allowed the use of a specific drill bit with a pre-measured length, thereby preventing accidental injury to major nerves, the spinal cord, or blood vessels.
